The regular meeting of the� Van Wert Amateur
Radio Club was called to order by the President Jack Snyder at 8:00 pm local
time on October 20th, 2012, with 17 members present. The minutes
from the October 6th, 2012 meeting was read and approved.
�
The Treasurer reported a cash
balance on hand for the month. �Motion to accept the report by Cork Poling, �2nd by Ralph
Shields. �Motion passed and report filed
for audit.
Treasurer
reported that he had received a bill for our Liability insurance for next year.
Cost is $200.00, same as last year.� Jerry
Rhodes moved to pay the bill, 2nd by Larry Swaney. Motion passed.
Treasurer
also reported that he received a check for $12.30 from Capital-One. This is
from the club's credit card program with Capital-One.

COMMITTEE / OFFICERS
REPORTS:
Dave Freels reported that the monitors
have been received and installed. The total cost was $463.83.
Ralph Shields advised he has
placed more club surplus items for sale on e-bay.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Secretary received Hamfest flyers
from Ft. Wayne. Also received a free parking pass. A
50 50 drawing was held. Jerry Rhodes was the winner.
OLD BUSINESS:�
Michelle
Thomas advised that she has a speaker for the Annual banquet.� Program will be on weather folklore.

NEW BUSINESS:
Ann
Vogel donated a Voice/CW Keyer to the club. Will be very
useful for contesting, such as Field Day.
