December 1, 2012
The regular meeting of the� Van Wert Amateur Radio Club was called to order by the President Jack Snyder at 8:00 pm local time on December 1st, �2012, with 13 voting members, 1 associate member and 2 guests present. The minutes from the November 17th, �2012 meeting was read and approved.
�
The Treasurer reported a cash balance on hand, all expenses paid. �Motion to accept the report by Cork Poling, �2nd by Brett Feasby. �Motion passed and report filed for audit.
COMMITTEE / OFFICERS REPORTS:
Treasurer made a presentation on purchaing windows 7 or 8, MS Office, for $44.00. This would provide 25 licenses. Also, Quickbooks could be purchased for $44.00, which would also provide 25 licenses. After discussion, It was moved by Ralph Shields and 2nd by Dave Taylor to purchase the above items for the sum of $88.00. Motion passed. The company that provides these will only sell to 501 C 3 tax exempt organizations.

President Jack Snyder gave an update on the CAP training classes being held at the Airport. He felt that they would be ready for their test by January.

OLD BUSINESS:�
Cork advised that the scrape metal that had accumalated had been sold for the sum of $90.00. The extra towers are stored in the barn at his place.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ralph Shields presented the new net roster for 2013. It has also been posted on the club web site.
